Tim might be ok
The reports are that the surgery was successful and that it wasn’t cancerbut rather a congenital disorder that was bound to cause this problem sooner or later.
Time will tell whether Tim will recover fully, but people usually do recoverfrom this kind of surgery.
Meanwhile, it’s way too early to worry about the political ramifications.
