The New Spave

So… I had this idea coming in from the interstate yesterday. I liked the idea so much I had a dream about it last night. I think it would be awesome if the city built a small ski slope on the east slope north of Cowboy Hill (or M Hill). It wouldn’t be very big and would only need one chairlift and a couple snow makers.

I also think that the seasonal expense could be justified by putting some sort of super awesome restaurant at the top that could be accessed year round via the chair lifts. It wouldn’t even have to be a restaurant; it could be something else that was really cool.

I know that the City recently tried to buy M Hill, I don’t know how that goes, and I also know that Pete Lien and Sons owned most of that mountain in the past, and I’m not sure if they still do. I also know that it would be a really expensive thing to do but it would be really awesome. Do you guys think I’m nuts or do you think there’s a chance it could ever happen?
